TerpSavvy is owned and operated by Xenia Fretter Woods. Xenia is an interpreter and interpreter educator. She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education, the Certificate of Interpretation, the Certificate of Transliteration, NIC Master and the Specialist Certificate: Legal from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, and Ed:K-12. Certified by the American Sign Language Teachers Association, she is a community college instructor, an interpreting mentor, and a workshop presenter. Her areas of special interest are sociolinguistics and historical linguistics. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, running, camping, and playing music.

Shannon Spina is TerpSavvy's registrar who has 19 years of office administration experience.  She was raised in San Jose, California. As an all-star pitcher in high school and junior college, she lead her team to many victories.  She has traveled to Europe on several occasions and appreciates different cultures and what they have to offer.  Her love for the ocean and mountains brought her to Humboldt County. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, the gym, and reading.
